Someone was here long ago
The flora & fauna they left us
Is naturally green & beautiful.
I think the Xitle exploded
& the blue sky came after that
Colors imploded
Everything glowed
& then the Palo Loco was born.
There were storms
But now there´s a rainbow
Everything´s cool
Except the contamination.
Sometime´s cold, sometime´s hot
So the animals & plants can grow up
We need to help, so pollution can go
Now everyone can feel just like gold.

In literature we read a poem named “Gold leaves”. The vocabulary was very easy. We could understand everything. In this poem a man is comparing autumn with him. He tells us that he is in his god years. He also says that the autumn is in its Golden leaves.In my opinion this poem is very easy. I could understand every Word. The author is expressing what does autumn means to him. How cold and old can it be. He could express how an old man feels throughout a poem. It relates with nature because itdescribes some of the characteristics of a Season of the year, and also how beautiful it can be. Then we wrote our own poems. Reflection by: Kaori Kimura
Our project is about green areas so at at first we started working with some poems about nature & the pedregal. We made our own poem. The fist poem analyzed was about a man comparing himself to nature. The poem tells me about an old man. He is comparing himself with autumn. I think the poem is beautiful. It makes me wonder about me in the future. The poem its related to nature because it talks about stations. The style the author uses is originall & I like it very much.

For thisprjoect the literatura teacher gave us a poem aboaut nature in the literature class.We answered same questions and finally we made our poems.
The poem I analized told me that the autumn is very special.The poem was about a man who is getting old and he comperes this event with the autumn.The man told that the leavesare gold.The poem is alsotold me that the autummis an important seasonat the year and we also have to take care of the lives.
I think that the poem is beautiful. at is beautiful because it telss about the autumm.I liked it because the autumn is one of myy favorite seasons at the year.I also thik that the man is expressing his ideas about the autumn.
When I read this poem it made fell free. I also felt that life is very important, wehave to care our salves.I think in the autumn everything becomes gold .I also would enter in the man’s mind and understand the authors feelings.
Jose angel alonso This poem is related with nature also.Its related with the nature because it tells about how it changes during every season .Also because the leaves are gold.I think that the author is old and he inspired for this poem in his own life.
Steps to make an ecological garden:
1- Choose the site where we are going to make our ecological garden. 2- Clean our site from plants that are not original of El Pedregal & remove grass to save the natural resource; water.
3- Choose the right species, original from El Pedregal, which will work in harmony.
4- Prepare the volcanic rock & plant the selected flora.
5- Observe the process of the garden by taking notes & making changes considering the successful growth of the garden.

Why is it important to use flora of the Pedregal de San Ángel in our ecological garden? Its imprortant to use flora from the Pedregal de San Ángel because if we plant other species of other parts of the world. theywould kill the original species of the Pedregal. these grow so fast they could become a plage, also they are used to another environment, so we would need to take care of them all the time. reflexión subida por: Kaori Kimura

we started making our desigh. each member of the team made their desigh. the next pictures are the desighs we made. we only used certain types of plants. everyone in the team had different ides of how to arrange the plants in our garden. with all the desighs we made, we started making a team desigh based in all the other desighs.

in science lab we started planting the plants we chose based on the group desigh. we started cleaning the place. it was full of trash. we found paper tissues, pencils, chocolates, etc. then we started planting orejas de burro in the place. we removed rocks so that we could plant.
